Aloe Plant Fun Facts

The aloe plant has been around for at least since the Roman Empire. This ancient plant was cultivated for its soothing ointment that's made from the juice of its leaves. The ointment is still cultivated and used today. The plant bears clusters of orange, yellow and red flowers in the winter.
